Pour 1 cup of water in the inner pot of the Instant Pot.
Place the steel trivet in the pot.
Place the eggs on the trivet.
Close the lid of the Instant Pot, after ensuring to secure the sealing ring in place.
Position the steam release valve to point to sealing.
Pressure cook the eggs on high pressure for 5 minutes.
Once the pressure cooking cycle is complete, wait for 5 minutes, till the lapsed time on the display reads 5 minutes, and then manually release all the pressure from the pot, by moving the steam release valve to venting.
Transfer the eggs into an ice bath. And let them sit in the ice bath for 5 minutes.
Once the time is up, start peeling the eggs.
Instant Pot Hard Boiled eggs are ready.
